Course Outline
This program discussed the different types of aerial devices used by workers to access heights such as cherry pickers, scissor lifts, zoom booms and single person elevating platforms that are powered either by hydraulic, mechanical or manual systems.
This program discusses relevant legislation, inspection, set up and use and associated hazards and control measures.
Depending on the device used, this program may be designed to specifically identify inspection, operation and maintenance protocols with the specific devices based on manufactures specifications.
Practical exercised with the devices will also be performed.
Class size with this program should be limited to 10 as much of the program will be hands on.
