Course Outline

This is a 2 day program that exams the methods and risks when accessing and climbing telecommunication structures.

  • Telecommunication Tower Types (climbing methods and hazards)
  • Climbing Hazard Assessments
  • Canada Labor Code Rules and Fall Prevention vs. Fall Arrest
  • Fall Protection Equipment and Equipment Use
  • Equipment Inspection (all hands on)
  • Fall protection at Work, Fall Protection and Rooftop Work
  • Aerial Rescue examines the necessity of performing a site hazard assessment prior to beginning work so rescues are planned and flawlessly completed
  • Students then perform practical rescues
  • This program concludes with a written examination and review
  • Upon completion, successful students will be presented a Certificate and laminated wallet card
